Today, at 1:30 in the morning, a group of 20 "chinchulines" (a paramilitary group), 12 members of the federal Judicial Police and Alfredo Vera, headed by Javier Gallegos Marti'nez, came to our village.
These people arrived in 3 pick up trucks, 1 three-ton truck, and two patrols.
They entered the houses, beating up the entire population, everyone was left very injured, including two pregnant women, their condition being serious.
Senor Valdemar Molina, from Chilo'n, also came. All of these people came armed, and they threatened us that they would return if we did not leave the village. They took two companeros with them, and they released them about one kilometer away.
We 40 families have been living on this land since 1992; we made an agreement with the owner, Senor Javier Gallegos Marti'nez, in which it was stated that we could remain here to live and that he himself would negotiate the payment of same with the government.
We do not know now what is going to happen, since we now have no place to go to live; in addition we are very worried, since they already told us they would kill us if they came back.
For all the above, we are asking that they let us live in peace, since we are peaceful working people; we are demanding that the state government resolve this immediately.
