To National and International Civil Society:
To the National and International Press:
We are denouncing that, starting on October 22 of 1999 and through the 27th, federal army helicopters have been making extremely low overflights above the communities of Nuevo San Antonio, La Florida, Delicias Casco, Nuevo Poblado San Pedro, Nuevo Poblado Zapata, Rosario Pacallal, Avellanal, Las Tasitas, Nuevo Poblado San Alfredo and San Jerónimo, destroying the roofs of the houses that are made of grass.
In any case, the children, women and men of the towns are very frightened that the helicopters are going to land.
In addition, the federal army and federal judicial police have also been carrying out land patrols, harassing, at the same time that helicopters are making the low overflights above the region.
We are holding the federal and state governments responsible for any damages suffered by our families from the actions that are being carried out by the federal army, as well as by the federal judicial police.
On another issue, we are denouncing that the state government is delivering programs to PRI communities such as La Trinidad, Las Tazas, Nuevo Poblado Santo Tomas and Ejido la Unión, but all the materials are coming with the federal army, such as the solar energy projects, the delivery of aid and the delivery of laminate. This action - the delivering of charity to the communities - is being done so that they will vote for the PRI and so that the federal army will be constantly patrolling the region and harassing the zapatista communities.
RESPONSABLES OF THE SAN MANUEL MUNICIPALITY, AGUASCALIENTES OF FRANCISCO GÓMEZ.
